Reform

California State Government has more than 300 boards and commissions.  California state government has 11 agencies and 79 different departments.  When reviewing all these different boards, commissions, agencies, and departments the question should be asked “Should California even be involved in this? “  An entirely new organizational structure should be developed to meet the needs of a limited state government in the 21st century. Richard Faher supports changing the California legislature from full time status to a part time status as is done in many states. The longer the California Legislature remains in session, the more damage they do to the California economy.
